A fifteen minute walk from Whistler Village, at the top of Whistler Cay Heights, close enough to walk in for the lifts, groceries or dinner and far enough out to miss the noise.

The main floor was recently renovated and it is the reason to take this place. A large open living and dining area, cedar plank walls, exposed beams and hardwood floors, with a stone fireplace at the centre and sliding doors onto a private deck looking out to the mountain through the trees. Light the fire on a snowy afternoon and it is about as cozy as Whistler gets. The kitchen sits off the dining area on the same floor, along with a three piece bathroom and the entry. One of the couches in the living area is a sofa bed, so there is room for guests when they come through.

Both bedrooms are upstairs with a five piece main bathroom. They are simply finished and comfortable, with high slanted ceilings that make them feel considerably larger than the dimensions suggest. Both take a queen.

Two parking spots, one of them under carport. Rare at this size, and through a Whistler winter the covered spot means you are never scraping a windshield or digging the car out after a dump.

The townhome comes fully furnished and ready to live in, with a full kitchen and in-suite washer and dryer. Smoketree is a fifty unit complex built in 1982, with a tennis court on site and the Valley Trail a short walk away.

02 · The TermsWhat is included

Term is three to six months, fixed, starting any time between October and April. Rent is $6,000 per month on a six month term, plus hydro. Shorter terms are priced on the dates and the length, so tell us what you need and we will quote it.

03 · House RulesOccupancy and conduct

• Maximum four occupants. The sofa bed is for guests, not for permanent occupancy
• No pets
• No smoking or vaping, inside the unit or on the deck
• Fixed term of three to six months, starting any time between October and April
• Security deposit of half of one month's rent
• A residential tenancy of thirty days or longer under the BC Residential Tenancy Act, not a nightly or vacation rental

04 · ApplyingHow to apply

Send an enquiry using the form on this page, or call directly. Include a short note about who would be living there and the dates you need. Viewings are arranged in person wherever possible, and by video where an applicant is out of town.

To apply you will be asked for a completed written application, previous landlord references, proof of employment or income, and consent to a credit check. There is no application fee and no placement fee charged to tenants.

Once an application is accepted, a security deposit of half of one month's rent is payable within 15 days. The tenancy agreement is the standard BC Residential Tenancy Branch form.
